Why keep track of poop and pee?

Because "since when has he not pooped?" is the first thing the vet asks, and nobody remembers. One tap during the walk — and the app remembers.

Why keep track of poop and pee?

"Since when has he not pooped?" — the first question at the vet's. The answer is usually "since yesterday, I think… or the day before?", because someone else went out in the morning and nobody was watching in the evening. With diarrhoea, a new food or an older dog, that answer matters, and nobody has it.

How it works in Tropy

During a walk the screen has two big buttons: poop and pee. One tap, the counter goes up, the spot is saved on the route. After the walk the summary shows whether the dog did what it needed to and how many times. Everyone at home sees the same on their dashboard — without asking.

Walking two dogs? Every event is assigned to a specific dog, so "Bruno hasn't for two days" does not get lost in "the dogs went today".

What changes

  • At the vet's you answer with a date and time, not "I think".
  • New food, new medication, a heatwave — you see whether something changed instead of guessing.
  • No evening walk "just in case" — you know the morning was taken care of.

What we deliberately do not do

We do not send notifications about poop and pee. A push with nothing to act on teaches you to ignore all the following ones; this information should be at hand when needed, not buzzing in your pocket.
