Tropy features
How much does the dog really walk?
Days in a row, this week, eight weeks on a chart and who at home walked how much. Numbers from the route, not from memory.

"He walks a lot." How much is a lot? Two kilometres a day or six? In the week everyone was busy it was less — but how much less? Without numbers everyone at home has a different impression, and everyone is right.
How it works in Tropy
Statistics come from recorded routes, so there is no wishful thinking in them. At the top, the streak: how many days in a row anyone went out with the dog. It counts from yesterday — a missing morning walk does not reset it, otherwise every day would start from zero. Below, this week: walks, distance, time. Then eight weeks on a chart, and every dog separately.
There is also one number that compares people: who at home walked how much. It counts who came along, not who held the phone — families go out together with one phone, so without this the table would measure the phone, not the people. The dog's distance counts once; yours counts for each of you.
A day is counted in your time zone, not the server's. A walk at half past midnight belongs to "today" and does not break the streak.
What changes
- The "you walk him less" conversation has data instead of impressions.
- You see the week the dog walked too little before you see it on the dog.
- The streak is a small motivation that does not punish one missed morning.
What we deliberately do not do
We do not count human calories or steps. This is the dog's diary; your health stays in your running app.
